I have always loved painting however it wasn’t until I discovered oils following a course at The Heatherley Art School that I was really inspired to develop my work further.

Brought up in Devon I have always had a love of the English countryside. Moving to the South Downs has given me a chance to explore a new landscape. I paint en plein air and in the studio.  I paint intuitively to capture the quality of the light and my emotional response to the land.

 I have been a regular participant in Hurstpierpoint Open Studios and Brighton Open Houses over the last 8 years .
